IOPark has participated in the XV Edition of the UPOemprende awards and has been awarded in the category of Innovative Company constituted with fiscal domicile in the municipality of Dos Hermanas.

This initiative is aimed at all members of the university community with an entrepreneurial spirit and its main objective is to promote and support business ideas generated from the university environment, promoting the formation of entrepreneurial teams and the creation of innovative companies based on the knowledge and research results developed at the UPO.

Last Friday we were able to present IOPark to a very select jury, among which were the Vice Chancellor for International Relations and Foundations, Laura Lopez de la Cruz; the delegate of Economic Promotion and Innovation of the City of Dos Hermanas, Carmen Gil; the coordinator of Design and Strategy of Andalucía Emprende, Nuria Garcia; the director of the Chair of Sevilla Football Club: University, Business and Sport, Javier Galvez; and the vice-rector of Research, Transfer and Doctorate, Antonia Jimenez, as detailed by the UPO in a press release.

It was a very enriching experience, as we competed with 20 other projects, each one more interesting and innovative than the last. The talent in Andalusia is enormous, so we entrepreneurs are very grateful for this kind of initiatives, not so much for the cash, which in the end is usually symbolic, but for the visibility and the great diffusion that these events and programs bring to startups and small entrepreneurs.

Our CEO Susana Carrasco collecting the award.

We will continue to innovate!
